About Tús
Tús is a community work placement initiative funded by the Department of Social Protection. Northside Partnership manages the Tús initiative in the North East Dublin area on behalf of the Department of Social Protection.
Tús provides opportunities for people who are long-term unemployed to break the cycle of joblessness and helps to improve a person’s work readiness and support them in returning to the labour market. Tús also aims to boost a person’s motivation and confidence, offer them opportunities to experience different work environments within the community and provide them with employment related experience to re-enter the labour market.
Northside Partnership works to improve the opportunities for people and communities in North East Dublin to bring about positive changes in their own lives and in the life of their community. We offer a range of programmes and services to support individuals, local organisations, groups and communities.
