Pobal is a not-for-profit company and a registered charity working on behalf of Government to support communities and local agencies toward achieving social inclusion, reconciliation and equality. As part of its role in the Early Years sector, Pobal administers funding to early years services for the following Childcare Programmes: Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), Training Employment Childcare (TEC) and Community Childcare Subvention (CCS). Pobal works on an all-island basis with offices in Dublin, Monaghan, Cork, Clifden and Sligo.
Visit Officer x 4 – Dublin (9 Month fixed term contract)
Pobal is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced people to fill four new positions as Visit Officer in our early years Compliance Unit. Working as part of a team, the Visit Officer is responsible for visiting allocated childcare services in Dublin and surrounding Leinster / midlands counties contracted in the Early Years Programmes and ensuring that these services are complying with standards set out by Pobal and the DCYA.
All applicants will require previous administration experience and good organisational /people skills and an ability to work to targets/deadlines. A relevant third level qualification (e.g. Certificate, Diploma), or equivalent is desirable. Experience in the Early Years’ sector is also desirable. Candidates will also require a full driving licence and provision of a vehicle for business purposes.
