Main Role:
The Youth Activity Worker, working as part of a youth work team, will be primarily involved in planning, implementing and evaluating youth service activities and programmes, in keeping with the organisations plans, and as agreed with the Project Leader, Regional Youth Service Manager, and the Board of Sphere 17 RYS.

Salary scale is commensurate with the CDYSB Youth Activity Worker Salary Scale €29,617 – €41,213. This post will require the successful candidate to work scheduled hours at evenings and weekends.

Required:
A FETAC level 5 full Award in Youth Work or equivalent qualification in a related area plus experience of working with young people.
Or
A minimum of 6 months full-time paid experience working directly with young people in a youth work setting.
