Description

Responsibilities: Work closely with Team Leader, Production Manager, Materials, Engineering & Quality functions to produce high quality product to customer specification at the most effective cost. Meets expectation against a number of critical KPIs – Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity – reportable accidents, first pass QC yield, customer returns, delivery performance etc. Responsible for maintaining and complying with all safety procedures and regulations. Adheres to all PPE requirements. Responsible for producing high quality product that meets the customer expectations, supporting key manufacturing processes during the summer holiday period – Cassette Spot Welding, Leak Testing, Laser / Inkjet Marking, Polishing & Pack-out. Proactively engage with the Team Leader to deliver the Weekly Production Schedule to meet the required ship date. Monitors tooling and equipment in areas of responsibility and reports repairs, upgrades or replacement.

Skills Requirements

Previous experience in manufacturing environment is advantageous, but not essential. Must have a positive attitude towards work; Ability to work effectively within a team environment; Good communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with people; Reliable with good time management skills, Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure to meet production targets and customer demands; Computer literate; Proactive; Must be available to work Saturday mornings if required.
