Production Planner – Cygnum Timber Frame Ltd – Co Cork

Description

Schedule and monitor all stages of a project from sales handover, through production to final delivery & erecting. Carry out a quality review on sales handover files to ensure completeness and accuracy of the files. Update and liaise with all departments (including design, production, erecting, and finance) in relation to schedule on a routine basis. Plan production to ensure ongoing correlation of customer demand and production capacity and advise management of any non-alignment of demand and capacity events. Maintain the records and reports needed to fulfil these duties. Co-ordinate all customer change requests to the relevant departments to ensure they are validly approved by client and actioned where relevant. Be the single point of contact for customers and other departments for the delivery of all manufactured elements of the timber frame package. Be prepared to prioritise clients having made the decision on strong logical & commercial grounds.

Skills Requirements

Excellent organisation skills and discipline. An ability to interact and negotiate with customers a mutually agreeable position. Excellent computer literacy especially Excel and project management tools. Persistent & dogged personality to ensure internal departments continuously meet deadlines. Ability and desire to maintain our excellent levels of customer service. Well motivated/ambitious individual. An understanding of construction will assist in the fulfilment of certain aspects of the role.
