Vanguard Recruitments client, a Medical Device manufacturer based in South Dublin have a vacancy for a Production Technician. As a laboratory technician you will be primarily involved in laboratory activities which support the manufacture of medical diagnostic test kits. This will involve quality control processes as well as working within the organisations quality management system. The Role: Work as part of the team supporting the production of IVD Test Kits. Carry out laboratory maintenance and cleaning to provide a safe and efficient environment to work. Carry out experimental work under supervision, as approved by line Manager. Write up worksheets for manufacture records in a format and timescale adhering to company design control and quality procedures. Support dispatch of products to customers. Support maintenance of consumable materials and chemicals using the appropriate business software and procedures and dealing with suppliers.

Skills Requirements

Work cooperatively within the team, sharing ideas and concepts to enable achievement of goals. The candidate is expected to have a bioscience background and a willingness to learn new laboratory techniques. The role will require working within a small team supporting the other scientists in the laboratory.
