Description
Duties to include daily management of the quality systems, auditing, department of agriculture auditing, liaising with customers and suppliers, upkeep of HACCP and BRC paperwork, monitoring compliance with quality policies and procedures. 2-3 years experience preferably in a meat processing facility is essential. Requirements. The successful candidate must have a Food Science Degree and at least 3-4 years experience in a similar role in the food industry. Experience of HACCP and BRC systems essential as is experience in dealing with customer and supplier audits and good management and organisational ability. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and a driven individual capable of working on their own initiative. Experience of machinery maintenance is desirable but not essential.
