Description
Some responsibilities in your job would be: Minimise stock losses and maximise stock system and paperwork accuracy. Develop the companys inventory management strategy. Ensure all inventory and stock management systems are maintained accurately. Understand all processes that manage the flow of material. Manage all the necessary stock counting/cycle count accuracy processes and routines. Work with Finance to complete Stock Counting Reporting requirements. Be the stock system expert. Work with production, purchasing, goods inwards, warehousing and dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly. Minimum 3 years experience is required. Perform daily audits of the stock control management system, reporting on findings. Work with Finance, provide routine management information on inventory performance, including stocking levels, exposure risk, defective material, aging of slow moving material. Highlight to Management, overstocks or redundant materials
Skills Requirements
Experience/skills: Previous experience and/or knowledge of computerised inventory management systems, stock control systems, MRP (ideally setting up of stock control systems, implementation, and maintenance). Skills/Attributes: Minimum 3 years previous experience in a stock controller role. 3 years supervisory experience. High competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as a minimum). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
