We are seeking to recruit with immediate effect, within the Clinical Department to the role of Behavioural Specialist. Candidates must demonstrate the necessary interest, capability, performance and enthusiasm in line with the requirements of this role. Key tasks include:
Conducting comprehensive Functional Assessments/ Functional Analysis
Design, Monitor and Evaluate MEBSP’s- incorporating all recommendations into a multi modal treatment package
Prepare and deliver specific briefs and training plans pertaining to Service Users
Preparing reports on incidents, Personal Plans, Progress reports, Behavioural reports, ABC analysis
Conduct Service User sessions (1:1 behaviour therapy when required)
Deliver training to front line staff
Work with various diverse MDT’s e.g. DBT, CBT, Psychiatry, SLT, OT, Play Therapists
Criteria required for the post:
Psychology Degree
A good understanding of the principles of Positive Behaviour Support/ Behaviour Analysis
2 years’ experience within the area of Behaviours that Challenge
Experience of report writing, personal support plans, designing MEBSP’s
Genuine respect and empathy for diversity and individuality
Desired criteria for the post:
Qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis
