Three Steps is a growing organisation which is established as one of the leading providers of Therapeutic Residential Care to young people with disabilities and also young people in the care of the HSE. Many of the young people that are residing with Three Steps have complex presentations and/or challenging behaviour and require a period of assessment and therapeutic intervention to help them and those around them to understand the emotional, behavioural and family difficulties that they present with. Three Steps is a focused and dedicated organisation that places positive outcomes for young people to the fore through the assembly of skilled and committed staff. Our focus on training and on-going development of staff is key to maintaining the positive outcomes that we achieve with the young people placed into our care. As some of the young people in our care are about to reach adulthood, we are planning to provide adult services to cater for their ongoing needs.
Our goal is that each of our residential centres will in itself be a centre of excellence in the care of young people with complex needs and is founded on building a team that excels in the field of Residential Care. Many of these young people will present with significant mental health difficulties and will therefore require an environment which is clinically informed and sympathetic to their needs. This cannot happen without high quality input from a team of highly motivated and highly professional Social Care Managers and Social Care Workers that place the needs of the client to the fore. You, as behavioural Therapist will become a member of our full time Three Steps Clinical Team which includes a Clinical Neuropsychologist, Clinical Psychologist, a Behavioural Therapist and a Psychiatrist.
