Description
The SIMs Clinic Limited, Irelands leading fertility clinic, has recently become a partner of Virtus Health, Australias largest provider of fertility services and has opened a new state of the art IVF facility in City Gate Park, Mahon in Cork. This new facility is expected to treat up to 400 couples a year. The successful applicant will be a qualified clinical embryologist and be expected to become part of a team involved in the day-to-day activities of the ART clinic and for the provision of a consistently high standard of care to all patients. They will also be accountable to the laboratory manager and responsible person for ensuring that all activities are complainant with the European Tissue and Cell Directives and relevant Irish Statutory Instruments. They will become part of a team responsible for procurement, processing storage and distribution of oocytes, sperm and embryos and participation in laboratory/tissue bank inspections.
Skills Requirements
To use your clinical embryology skills on a day to day basis to meet the requirements for the ART laboratory facility Provide constant communication with the laboratory manager in respect of all aspects of the Tissue Establishment laboratories responsibilities under legislative and statutory requirements Deliver on the daily laboratory needs in respect of the non-patient components of the tissues and cells documentation, patient contact, traceability and quality control.
