Applicants should:
Be registered with An Bord Altranais, RNID qualification desirable. Applications from other nursing disciplines will be considered
Have a minimum of two years experience at CNM2 level in the area of intellectual disability
Have completed a recognised Management Programme
Have proven people management, leadership, communications and interpersonal skills
Have experience of working with people with Challenging Behaviours and complex care needs and supporting and mentoring staff teams in the delivery of a high quality Service to the Service User’s
Be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and the capacity to manage change
Experience of the HIQA registration process and supporting staff teams in the preparation for the inspections and maintaining standards
Full clean driving license and use of a car
