The role of Clinical Nurse Manager is to deliver a comprehensive nursing service to the Campus on a day to day basis. To advise, encourage and facilitate young person’s care programmes to achieve the maximum outcomes, ensure that the appropriate nursing practice, care implementation and planning are effective and are done in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.

The Oberstown Children Detention Campus provides a safe and secure environment to young people sentenced by the Courts. The facilities are located on a single site in Oberstown, Lusk, Co Dublin, Ireland.

The Campus is funded by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. The principal objective of the Campus under the Children Act 2001 is to provide care, education, training and other programmes with a view to reintegrating the young people into communities and society.
