The CARE (Community Alcohol Response & Engagement) Project is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist for an integrated community alcohol project across three Drug Task Force areas i.e. Ballymun, Finglas, and North County Dublin in collaboration with the HSE. This service will provide a localised integrated pathway with specific interventions for those presenting with alcohol problems. Following a successful pilot implementation in 2014/2015 project funding for 3 years has been secured through HSE Addiction Service, Dublin North City and County.
Clinical Nurse Specialist (full-time position/3 year fixed term contract)
We are looking for a full-time (35 hours) Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide assessments, medical support and treatment planning to service users of the CARE project across 3 Locations in North Dublin.
Essential criteria:
Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Registered Nurse with a post graduate qualification in addiction.
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
5 years post registration experience.
2 years experience of working with people with addiction.
Understanding of broad range of alcohol screening, assessment and intervention instruments.
The salary scale for this post is aligned to Clinical Nurse Manager 2 HSE Scale
