Basic Grade Clinical Psychologist required by Irish Autism Action for full-time position based in Multyfarnham, Co. Westmeath. Experience with children with autism and related conditions essential. Salary will be aligned with the Department of Health consolidated payscales.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete assessment of needs as required under the Disability Act 2005.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide services to children newly diagnosed and school-aged children with autism.
Provide the full range of psychological services as required, to include assessment, diagnosis, and devising, monitoring and reviewing treatment programmes.

Requirements:

A recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology
1 year post-graduate experience in a similar setting
Experience of completing assessments of disability related needs (Disability Act 2005)
Training and experience in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
Full, clean driver’s license
