Services include, Family Support, Social Work, Older Person Services including Home-Help and Day Centres, Counselling, Citizen Information Centre, Adoption services, Residential Treatment Centre for those with addictions and support for Travellers. www.clarecare.ie
We are currently recruiting for the following position:
COUNSELLOR (1 DAY PER WEEK – FRIDAY) – ENNIS
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a permanent role (subject to funding and successful completion of probationary period).
Essential Requirements:
A Primary Degree together with Post-graduate Degree/Diploma in Counselling and/or Psychotherapy.
A fully accredited current member of IACP or IAHIP or BACP
A minimum of 3 years relevant post accreditation experience in a counselling capacity with individuals and groups, across diverse issues.
Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Well developed computer skills including, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Demonstrate an active, personal commitment to your own self-care and continuing professional development.
Desirable Requirements:
Full clean driving licence.
