We are delighted to announce that an opportunity has arisen for the position of Environmental Health (Food Safety) Officer, Environmental Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and reporting on catering audits within food service establishments. The successful candidate will also provide support to the FOG environmental inspection team. Due to the nature of the role and responsibilities therein flexibility is required with regard to working hours. Role Duties The Environmental Health Officer?s duties shall include but are not limited to; Conduct catering audits of food service establishments and food suppliers and prepare technical audit reports. Assist project manager in the development of new business opportunities in catering audit sector. Conduct environmental inspections to a high standard. Assist the Environmental Manager with monthly/annual reports. Ensure quality control to match client requirements.
Skills Requirements
Role Criteria: The candidates must demonstrate that they meet the following criteria to be considered a suitable candidate for this position; The successful candidate will have a Degree in Environmental Health (or equivalent). Must demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of food safety legislation, regulations and standards. Previous experience working as an Environmental Health Officer an advantage. Highly motivated and proven ability to meet and achieve targets and deadlines.
