Galway Traveller Movement invites applications for the position of GTM Peer Led Primary Health Care Project Coordinator for South East Galway.
The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team and have:
A degree in Community Development or evidence based/high standard lifelong learning in community work practice( See Job specification)
At least 5 – 10 years relevant work experience in a community development setting
A comprehensive understanding of health policy and practice
An understanding of Peer led Primary Health Care and working from a Community Development Approach
Coordination and project management experience
A comprehensive understanding of Traveller issues and Cultural diversity
A commitment to working from an anti-racist and equality perspective
This is a full time position (funding dependant).
