Our client a leading logistics company based in Naas, Co. Kildare are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join their expanding team. Reporting to the Managing Director your duties will include: Completing in house training with staff from Mechanical Handling Equipment, Manual Handling, Risk Assessment and Safe systems of work; Completing on site safety audits; Ensuring correct safety equipment on site and stock replenishment when necessary; Adhere to Health and Safety KPI; Completing on site risk assessments, store risk assessments and safe systems of work; Co-ordinating accident investigations with operations team and reviewing safety conversations on a weekly basis; Reporting on health and safety records and maintaining those records; Complete inspection reports on a weekly basis; Assemble health and safety packs for clients. At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in a similar role required, ideally within a warehouse environment.

Skills Requirements

Experience required: At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in a similar role ideally within a warehouse environment; Must hold a Health and Safety Qualification; Manual Handling Instructor training would be a distinct advantage; Computer literate and proficient in office Suite desirable; Strong organisational skills and ability to work under own initiative essential.
