Western Traveller and Intercultural Development – Tuam, Co Galway invites application for the position of: Healthcare professional to Coordinate the Primary Health Care for Travellers Programme based in Tuam, Co Galway (Maternity Cover).

The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team and have:

A recognised health care qualification
An understanding of primary health care, working from a community development approach as part of a team
An understanding of health policy and practice
An understanding of Traveller issues and cultural diversity
Group facilitation skills and experience of group work
Planning, evaluation and administration skills
A commitment to work from an anti-racist and equality work perspective

Salary: Depending on Experience and Qualification

Working hours: 16 hours per week
