Purpose:
To support and deliver a high quality, professional youth mental health programme to young Travellers aged 15 to 20 years nationally. To promote and assist the voluntary participation of young Travellers through delivery of a range of innovative mental programmes and activities through the No Shame mental health youth project.
Main Duties
Work directly and collaboratively with all local youth work organisations and providers of youth programmes, especially those who engage with young people form the Traveller community.
Recruit and train volunteers to support the activities of your Project
Manage all aspects of the project on a national level
Project Development: planning, managing, reporting and executing against a set of defined project outcomes set out in the No Shame strategic plan.
Community Support: Supporting a regional network of youth organisations, youth workers and volunteers to deliver the No Shame Programme with young people from the Traveller community
Essential:
Full drivers licence and own transport required
