St Catherine’s is an innovative organisation who provide community based services and supports to children/young people who have an intellectual disability and their families in Co Wicklow.

We are currently recruiting for a permanent part-time staff nurse for a School Setting; the successful individual must have the following essential criteria:

Essential:
Registration with An Bord Altranais
RSCN, RGN, RNID
At least 7 years experience in a healthcare setting
Knowledge and previous experience in Clinical Care Areas including but not exclusive to the following:
Tracheostomy Care, Suctioning, PEG, Medication Management, Oxygen Therapy, Epilepsy Management, Respiratory Management, Skin & Tissue viability management, Pain Management etc.
Evidence of Continued Professional Development
Excellent IT, administration, report writing and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and flexible
A proven ability to work effectively as part of a MDT team

Desirable:
Experience working with children with life-limiting conditions
Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and accompanying complex medical needs.
