Camphill Community Greenacres requires a Community Coordinator to lead a successful changing community that offers people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to live in an intentional residential community, or in supported housing and independent living. Our support services also include a day centre and day services.
What we need: To fill this post you will have a solid background in community development ideally having worked in residential care, independent living and social housing. You will have a strong management background and leadership. You will have a relevant degree qualification. You will be person-centred and collaborative in your work. You will have a good understanding of the values of Camphill and have a strong commitment to developing the community. You will be a dynamic person who is looking for personal and organisational growth opportunities and challenges.
What we offer: The position would suit either a volunteer co-worker or a person seeking employment.
The employment opportunity offers a good working environment and a salary of circa Euro 45.000.
The volunteer co-worker position offers the opportunity to live in Dublin within a small Camphill Community. For a person offering a medium term commitment (5 years) this may include access to a relevant post graduate course in a Dublin University.
