Our client, a large international distribution and logistics company is seeking a Traffic Planner to join their team. Candidates must be flexible regarding work times for this position. Based in Naas your duties will include: To plan all distribution deliveries and collections while utilising subcontractors, which consists of 16-18 24ft Rigid Trucks and 5-6 vans. Dealing with all queries related to equipment availability, collections and deliveries Understanding and directing operators of all non-conformities in relation to delivery or collection of stock. Adhering to all transport regulations. Arranging transport of cargo through hauliers confirming pricing as cost effective as possible. Dealing with all administration as required.

Skills Requirements

Experience required: At least 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role essential. Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a pressurised environment. Ability to multi take while displaying strong attention to detail. Good geographic knowledge of Ireland and Dublin.
