Sherlock Recruitment are currently looking to enlist a Health and Safety Manager in the South Leinster region for our client, who is formidable force in the construction industry. You will be joining a professional and well-structured Safety Department. You will be accountable for the arrangement of Health & Safety procedures and threat valuations, weekly Site Inspections and monthly site examinations and reviews. You will undertake site safety orientations and will command all of the safety meetings. Responsible for studying sub-contractors safety depositions and safety compliance, inspecting, reporting and recording all accidents and incidents. The Health and Safety Manager should have previous involvement on civil projects, preferably street developments and motorway maintenance. Inspire a philosophy of ongoing enhancement concerning all health, safety and environmental work preparations.

Skills Requirements
Degree or equivalent third level qualification in Health and Safety. 10 years experience operating in Health and Safety. Experience working on large scale civil projects, ideally motorway or streets. Excellent HSE legal familiarity and pragmatic application. Formidable organisational and communication abilities. Respectable IT skills.
