Description
We currently have a vacancy in our Laboratory Sales division for a business development specialist, covering all territories in Ireland. This role is responsible for supporting existing customers as well as developing new business predominantly within the environmental monitoring sector. Primary functions are key account management with existing customer base and new business development. To be successful in this busy role requires a person who is self-motivated, diligent and professional with an outgoing personality. Due to the technical nature of the products we support, a science background is desirable.
Skills Requirements
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook. Strong negotiation skills. Practical working knowledge of environmental monitoring equipment desired. A third level science or business degree is essential. This role would suit a recent science graduate or someone who has laboratory experience looking to break into a sales role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential. A high level of computer literacy is essential. Full driving license, as this is an on the road role.
